We then propose a tutor whose subject specialism, age-phase experience and personality match — usually within 48 hours. You can switch tutors at any time, no questions asked.

Hourly rates depend on stage and specialism: KS1–KS2 from £30/hour, KS3 from £35, GCSE from £40, A-Level and 11+ specialists from £45–£60, SEND specialists from £55. Crash courses, packages and online lessons can reduce the per-hour rate. We'll always confirm pricing in writing before lessons begin.

All three. Many families start online for flexibility, then move to home tuition for exam terms. We follow the same vetting and safeguarding standards across all delivery modes — including a published Home Tuition Code of Conduct.

Every tutor produces a baseline assessment, a tailored plan, and a weekly progress note. You'll always know what was covered, what's next, and how your child is doing against the plan — without having to chase.

We ask for 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Lessons rescheduled within 24 hours are charged in full so the tutor isn't out of pocket. Full T&Cs are shared at sign-up.

Yes — it's one of our specialisms. We work with families whose children have ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, PMLD or EHCPs. SEND tutors are matched on specialism, not just availability, and we coordinate with schools and local authorities where relevant.

For schools we know, response times are typically under 30 minutes during term time. We hold a curated bench of vetted, day-rate-ready candidates and can usually have a teacher in school for the start of the next school day — or the same morning for early calls.

EDU Archives PERM is our permanent recruitment service. It includes role scoping, advertising, longlisting, shortlisting, references and pre-employment checks. We charge a transparent success fee with a free replacement guarantee if a candidate leaves within the agreed period.

We work with academies, MATs and LA-maintained schools across the West Midlands. We can supply via direct PO, framework call-off or via partner master vendors — please contact us for current arrangements.

Enhanced DBS (with barred-list where applicable), identity, right-to-work, qualification certificates, two written references, gaps-in-employment exploration, and online presence checks. Consultants and candidates train annually on KCSiE 2024.

Yes — temp-to-perm arrangements are common, and we structure them fairly so neither the school nor the candidate is locked in. Conversion fees are tapered and disclosed in writing up-front.

Daily supply rates start at £130 for unqualified TAs and rise to £225+ for SEND specialist teachers. We publish bands openly to candidates and never quietly underpay against the going rate. PAYE and umbrella options are available; we never push candidates into off-payroll arrangements.

Yes. Many of our candidates start with us on supply, then convert to permanent roles in schools they enjoy. We're upfront about that with both candidates and schools.

Yes. You'll always have a named consultant who knows your subject, your phase, your radius and your preferences — not a rotating call centre.

Many of our candidates do. If you've registered with us as a teacher you can also pick up online tutoring through our tutoring division — we'll route work to you in line with your availability.

Yes. We're registered with the ICO and hold candidate and client data in line with UK GDPR. Our Privacy Policy and Data Protection and Processing Policy explain in detail what we collect, how we use it, and how to exercise your rights.

We publish a Complaints Policy and a Whistleblowing Policy. Concerns can be raised by phone, email or in writing — and serious safeguarding concerns are escalated to the Designated Safeguarding Lead immediately.
