FAQs
Common questions
Do I need QTS to work with you?
QTS is required for class-teacher roles in maintained schools. Cover supervisor, TA and HLTA roles don't require QTS. ECT-stage teachers are very welcome — we coordinate with school induction tutors so days count towards QTS where applicable.
What pay rates do you offer?
Daily rates start at £130 for unqualified TAs and rise to £225+ for SEND specialist teachers and shortage-subject secondary roles. We publish bands openly to candidates and never quietly underpay against the going rate.
How quickly will I be working?
Once your compliance pack is complete, most candidates start receiving suitable role offers within 1 week. Specialist SEND and secondary subject roles can be quicker; primary in particular areas can be slower in some terms.
Can I do tutoring as well as supply?
Yes — many of our candidates do. If you've registered as a teacher you can also pick up online tutoring through our tutoring division — we'll route work to you in line with your availability.
Ready to register?
Five minutes. No commitment. We’ll come back the same working day.
