How home tuition works
After a free consultation we propose a tutor matched to your child. The tutor visits at the agreed time — usually weekly, sometimes twice. Sessions take place in a quiet, neutral space at home (kitchen table, study, dining room) with a parent or guardian present in the home.
Each session ends with a brief progress note — what was covered, what's next, and any home practice. We review at half-term, and you can change tutors at any time.

Areas we cover
We deliver home tuition across the West Midlands metropolitan area and the surrounding counties: Birmingham, Solihull, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Walsall, Dudley, Sandwell, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Staffordshire and Shropshire borders. For families outside this area, online tuition is just as effective for KS3, GCSE and A-Level learners.

Common questions
Does a parent need to be present?
A parent or appropriate adult must be in the home during sessions, but doesn't need to sit in. Sessions take place in a shared space — kitchen, dining room, lounge — never in a closed bedroom.
What if my child has special needs?
We have specialist SEND home tutors. See our SEND tutoring page or talk to our SEND team — we'll match a specialist with the right experience.
How do you handle cancellations?
We ask for 24 hours' notice. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged in full. Tutors who cancel late are penalised internally and you're not charged.
