Targeted booster tutoring — short, sharp, measurable progress.
Sometimes students don't need a full programme — they need a focused boost. Maybe a topic that never quite clicked. A confidence dip after a difficult term. A push to move from a 5 to a 7. Booster tutoring zeroes in on the gap and closes it.
Diagnostic-driven
We start with a short assessment so the booster targets the actual weak spot — not a guess.
Short and focused
Most boosters run 4–8 sessions. No drag, no padding.
Confidence first
Boosters are designed to leave students feeling capable — not exposed.
Measurable outcome
Each booster has a defined success criterion agreed with parent and student up-front.
Any subject, any stage
Primary phonics to A-Level mechanics — we'll find the right specialist.
Easter / half-term ready
Booster bursts run beautifully across school holidays, when there's time to reset.
What we offer
Common booster scenarios
- 🧩
Topic catch-up
Trigonometry won't click. Photosynthesis is fuzzy. Quadratics are scary. We pick the gap and close it.
- 🌱
Confidence rebuild
After a difficult term, a poor mock, or moving school — boosters refocus and reassure.
- 🚀
Grade push
Moving from a 6 to a 7, or a 7 to an 8, often needs only a focused 8 sessions of mark-scheme work.
- 🏖
Holiday intensives
Easter and half-term holiday programmes — keeping momentum without the school-time juggle.
How it works
Our process
- 1
Diagnostic call
We define the gap precisely — what's the topic, the grade, the test, or the issue?
- 2
Plan & success criterion
We agree what 'done' looks like before the first lesson — so it's measurable.
- 3
Focused sessions
4–8 lessons, weekly or bi-weekly, with home practice between.
- 4
Wrap-up review
End-of-booster check against the success criterion, and a clear next-step recommendation.
FAQs
Common questions
How is a booster different from regular tutoring?
Boosters are time-limited and goal-specific. Regular tutoring is open-ended and broad. A booster might be 6 weeks of trigonometry; regular tutoring might be a year of GCSE maths.
Can a booster turn into ongoing tutoring?
Often yes — once a student has experienced a focused win, many families decide to continue. We'll never push you into that, though.
