Mentoring that builds the student, not just the grade.
Academic success isn't only about subject knowledge — it's about confidence, study habits, social-emotional resilience and a sense of where you're going. Our mentoring programmes pair students with experienced mentors who know how to build all four.
Beyond academics
Confidence, organisation, decision-making and direction — not just topic mastery.
Trained mentors
Mentors are qualified teachers, counsellors or coaches with safeguarding training.
Transition support
Specialist programmes for primary→secondary and GCSE→A-Level transitions.
Careers and UCAS
Sixth-formers get help with personal statements, super-curricular, and decision support.
Confidential & kind
A trusted space for students who don't want every conversation to feel like a parent-teacher meeting.
Visible to parents
We agree boundaries up-front: what stays private, what's shared, and how often we check in.

How it works
Our process
- 1
Match conversation
We talk to parents and student to understand what would feel useful — not what we think they should want.
- 2
Mentor introduction
A no-commitment first session to make sure the mentor feels right.
- 3
Goals & check-ins
We set 2–3 simple goals, agree how to measure them, and review at half-term.
- 4
Sustained relationship
Mentoring works best over a year or more. We plan for continuity, not short bursts.
FAQs
Common questions
How is mentoring different from tutoring?
Tutoring is subject-specific. Mentoring is about the whole student — habits, confidence, transitions, decisions. Many students benefit from both, with different people doing each.
Can mentoring be online?
Yes. Many of our mentoring relationships are online — particularly with sixth formers, where flexibility matters and visual cues are less critical.
Will mentoring conversations be private?
We agree boundaries up-front. Most things stay between mentor and mentee, but anything safeguarding-related is escalated immediately to parents and (where appropriate) school.
Ready to talk?
Tell us about your school, your child, or your career — we'll come back the same working day.
